How did you become a designer?
Frustrated with shrinking luggage space, and tired of changing handbags for each activity, I needed a high-quality, timeless, stunning handbag that would take me through my day, trip, and for years to come. I wanted one handbag that would do it all and be any bag I needed it to be while looking incredible! There wasn’t one, so I designed one! My bags are reversible and convertible, giving you a tote, hobo, backpack, messenger, cuffed, evening bag wristlet, cocktail shoulder bag, clutch, waist bag and more in every bag. Any bag you need, when you need it! What’s your inspiration? Several different French-made bags had some of the utility and design aspects I envisioned; but none went far enough nor did it all. But, their quality, chic styling and timeless appeal were inspiring. What’s your hometown? Naples, Florida If you had to pick a favorite design from your collection, what would it be? All the Chouette bags are the same design; so, I’ll say that one of my favorite fabric and leather combinations is black leather on one side, and a go-with-all tapestry or faux fur on the other. The black leather reversing to a jaguar, leopard, tiger or zebra patterned fabrics are perfect.  Hot Picks - Chouette Handbags
