Shecky’s – Designer Lounge - Dirty Dolls Lingerie

How did you become a designer?
We have both been obsessed with fashion, design, vintage lingerie and burlesque since a young age. Reconstructing/sewing vintage pieces and updating them was and still is a pastime we both share. After attending The Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City we both worked in the fashion industry and built up our resumes. However, we were both very frustrated with the styles we had to create while working for other companies. There was always something missing in the fit and styling of these garments, so we decided to take matters into our own hands, thus Dirty Dolls Lingerie was born!

What’s your inspiration?
The primary inspiration for Dirty Dolls Lingerie is burlesque and vintage lingerie from the early 20th century. The brand seeks to re-create elements of retro glamour by creating meticulously constructed lingerie that is meant to-be-seen and flatter all shapes and sizes. Dirty Dolls Lingerie brings burlesque glamour to your everyday life.

If you had to pick a favorite design from your collection, what would it be?
Curvaceous Cleavage, not only is this brassiere beautiful, but it is comfortable, supportive and can be worn every day.
