Among the shops and history of the Faneuil Hall area, Charles N Co. Salon (which recently changed its name from Man In The Moon) is on the second floor of the marketplace and specializes in everything hair—cuts ($40 +), coloring, perms, etc. Only a few chairs line the space, but the large windows that look over the market make it appear larger, brighter, and very inviting. Professionals of the area like to come here for a quick fix, and because it’s only steps from the North End, its residents frequent this trendy spot as well.
Insider Tip: Definitely book an appointment; due to its intimate setting and size, walk-ins might not be taken at the moment they come in. And now they offer facial waxing!
