Acqua’s three top stylists, Richard Senesi, Daniel Gutierrez, and Tom Maynard, may hail from the now-defunct Elizabeth Arden Salon at Saks, but they’ve certainly hit their stride in their current digs. Rumor has it the place is frequented by Red Sox wives; given that rap, their cuts are a bargain at $58 and up. Color starts at $50 for single process and runs $75-$125 for highlights, while brow and facial waxing ($15-$35) help create a totally polished look. Men and women are equally welcome clients at Acqua, as proven by the modern, decidedly un-frilly décor, making this the perfect place for cut and color pour deux.
Insider Tip: Last we checked, Acqua’s nail and body waxing services were unavailable due to a change in staff. But call in for an update—their aromatherapy pedicure ($35) is divine.
