10 Most Ridiculous Outfits at the 2013 Grammy Awards

1 2 3 4

Everyone knows that the Grammy Awards provide the best opportunity for celebrities to dress like lunatics. And lunacy was on full display at this year’s celebration, from green, of all colors, having a major red carpet moment on the likes of Florence Welch and Solange Knowles, to Jennifer Lopez’s take on the “Angelina Jolie leg.” Take a look at the most ridiculous ensembles here!

- Molly Friedman

It’s not easy being green, nor is it easy to wear the flashy color. While Solange Knowles’ Ralph & Russo gown came the closest to making it work, Katy Perry’s mint green Gucci dress looked oddly cheap and dated when paired with her heavy-looking black hair. Florence Welch actually looked the best she ever has in this glittery Givenchy dress, but we still think this color is best left in the ‘80s.

I think Taylor Swift looks great; I do not get Alexa Chung or why she is so big…

I love the emerald green on Solange & Florence! Agree that Katy Perry’s didn’t work, though.

“Green, of all colors”? Weren’t you reporting just recently on how emerald green was one of the new “It” colors of the season?

I thought Kelly Rowland rocked it this year. That dress fit her just right! Katy Perry looked good but I think there was to much breast exposure. J-Lo always holds it down. Please stop with the reference to Angelina Jolie. Slits have been here forever!
Beyonce can have a casual moment, after all she is Mrs. Carter. Her sister looked alright after all it was the Grammy’s!!

Tsk tsk haters in the building. Katy looks stunning here, this picture goes on my WORKOUT Motivation poster, and the majority of the other girls look great as well…

I never thought I would live to see the day when Kelly Osborne would class up, but here she is looking great and in control of her style. I am not certain if I like J-Lo’s style, perhaps the look will grow on me once people start imitating it. Kelly Rowland looks gorgeous but she gives me the feeling that she tried to hard. I liked Beyonce’s look but it was not for the Grammy’s. She could have worn it better at a minor award ceremony or at least an interview but not the Grammy’s. She looks gorgeous though but not for the Grammy’s. Kathy Perry looks as if she wore a dress that did not fit right, and it did not. Solange Knowles looked ok, I liked her look. Nothing special, nothing ground breaking. She did not take a risk, nor did she do anything major with her look. Florence Welch Dress was beautiful but she did not do Justice to it. The hair and the make up is a hot mess, and not to mention those shoes.

I DISAGREE, I THINK EACH WOMAN REFLECTED INDIVIDUALITY, CREATIVITY, ECCENTRICITY,
& STYLE, THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WOTH DARING TO BE DIFFERENT, INSTEAD OF CONFORMING
WITH THE MASSES. I LOVED KELLY ROWLAND DRESS, AS WELL AS J. LO’S SHE IS HER OWN WOMAN
AND WHY SHOULD SHE NOT ADOPT A STYLE JUST BECAUSE OF ANGELINA JOLIE…SERIOUSLY?A LEG SLIT, THERE’S NOTHING ORIGINAL ABOUT IT, IT’S BEEN HAPPENING FOR YEARS…

    I disagree,.these women looked beautiful in,their own
…Who cares what Angelina has done
    J.Lo is her own women,.I loved Kelly.Rowland’sgown.as well.as.Taylor’s..Finally I strongly
    disliked Rhianna’s hair and gown..

Why does Kelly Osborne host Fashion Police when her hair and clothes are always a tacky mess? She seriously needs a good stylist. The Grammy dress is the best I have ever seen her.

Ridiculous??? Is that the new slang for good? because I disagree with most of these. Kelly Roland was the best dressed!!! I also liked JLO, Rihanna, and Taylors dress. I do agree that JLo should not over emphasize her leg in that dress especially after Angelina Jolie was mocked for doing so. I liked Beyonce’s pantsuit but not for the occasion.

I agree with You!!!! I’m confused who was the judge of these ensembles because they lost me when they said Kelly wasn’t one of the best dressed .

i absolutely disagree…I looved Katy Perry and Solange’s look..it’s as unique as they are…Katy perry was goign for a unique vintage look and i think she pulled it off elegantly..florence welch is very eccentric so this look may work for her even though i didnt get the spikes..i think they dress may have been perfect without those or the accessories that blended in..the matchign green purse and green shoes were too luch

I’d have to disagree with almost every pick in this article. Most of these outfits were gorgeous and looked fabulous on these women.

The only drawback of Rihanna’s dress is that it blends into the carpet.
