Pumpkin Party Cooler

Need a way to ice down all of those yummy bottled ciders and pumpkin beers you’ll be serving at your fall bash? Sure, you can go the usual cooler or fridge route, but that’s b-o-r-ing. Go fab and functional with this Pumpkin Party Cooler from—who else?—Martha Stewart. Repurpose that huge pumpkin you hauled home after a day at the pumpkin patch as a drink cooler by cutting off the top third of the gourd with a serrated knife. Scrape out the pulp and seeds, and shave the inside edges of the pumpkin with a spoon to make enough room for a glass or plastic bowl to fit inside.
