Makeup 911! Save Your Products After Beauty Faux-Pas

Emergency: My nail polish is goopy!

Quick Fix:
While we would recommend purchasing a fresh bottle of lacquer, if you must get use out of your nail varnish, slip a few drops of acetone into the bottle and shake. Acetone acts as a polish thinner, breaking down the thickness of older polish. So if you’re reviving your old Dior “Tuxedo” nail polish, we don’t blame you!

Thanks! These are some really good tips. I used to use a compact all the time when I was younger and can’t tell you how many I dropped and broke. Wish I would’ve known this.
