Best Movie Makeovers: Get the Look
Ever After

Of course we had to add a Cinderella story to our list! After all, isn’t the classic fairytale every girl’s dream? Get free clothes, transportation, a prince and live happily ever after? Now that’s what we’re talking about! Drew Barrymore plays a great version of Cinderella in Ever After and even though we don’t have Leonardo Da Vinci to give us wings, we can grab some ideas from the elegant 20th century wardrobe. Sure, the gown is important in any Cinderella story but we think her accessories need to stand out even more! The Jewel Necklace with Stones and Glass Tear ($29.90 on zara.com), LuLu Frost Crystal Petal Bracelet ($118 on jcrew.com) and the Floraswirl Clip ($18 on anthropologie.com) will make you stand out from the crowd so you’ll grab the prince’s attention. But when you want a 20th century shoe, you’ll fall flat at department stores. Check out vintage shoe sites like remixvintageshoes.com and even etsy.com and ebay!
