Adult Grilled Cheese

Gooey cheese oozing out between two slices of white bread was a childhood favorite, especially when dipped in a bowl of tomato soup after a chilly evening playing outside. Now that we’re older, it needs to be dressed up a bit for it to have the same appeal. You won’t recognize this Adult Grilled Cheese from Recipegirl.com once you’re done making it!

What You’ll Need: 2 slices of bread (rosemary sourdough or rustic French, anything fancy), spreadable butter, goat cheese, tomato slices, arugula leaves, prosciutto slices & Harvati cheese (or whatever cheese you desire)

What You’ll Do: Butter your bread while heating up the skillet over medium-low heat. Spread goat cheese on one slice of bread and then place that slice (butter-side down) in the pan. Next, layer tomato, arugula, prosciutto and cheese on top before placing the second slice of bread on top (butter-side up). Cover the skillet for a few minutes or until lightly browned and cheese is melted. Flip and repeat. Cut in half and serve!
