Joseph Gordon Levitt
Unlike other three-named child actors of the ’90s (cough, Jonathan Taylor Thomas, cough), Joseph Gordon Levitt left his child star past relatively unscathed and still in demand as an adult actor. You’ll likely remember JGL as the baseball-loving cutie pie from 1994′s Angels in the Outfield, the alien trapped in a gangly, long-haired teen’s body on “3rd Rock from the Sun” or as geeky, lovestruck high schooler Cameron in the ’99 teen hit 10 Things I Had About You. But instead of fading into memory or drunkenly flailing into infamy like so many other child stars, Levitt chose to go to Columbia and took on tough and impressive roles in flicks like Manic, Mysterious Skin and Brick. He cemented his status as one of Hollywood’s hottest young actors as the romantic idealist Tom in 500 Days of Summer and continued to show off his skills in The Dark Knight Rises, Inception and 50/50. And we’ve got to admit, you won’t hear us complaining about seeing more of this cutie pie!
