What NOT To Wear to a Wedding
Flip Flops

Now, we know that you want to be comfortable so that you can dance and party at the wedding reception, but flip flops are just a bit tacky. Unless you are attending a beach wedding and the bride has requested that you wear flip flops, then no, don’t do it. Some brides choose to give out flip flops as wedding favors so the ladies can make a quick shoe swap during the party, so in this case, feel free. Otherwise, leave them in your closet ladies, or maybe in the car for the ride home.

Post a CommentI went to a Mid-West wedding a few years ago (2007) and in the back of my mind I figured conservative, probably almost everyone will be wearing black (formal affair). And I was right! Unfortunately, my Western culture begged me to wear color, so I did, and then I felt embarrassed! So find out the region you are going to and stick with their brand of fashion, and you won’t feel like a goof like I did!
No black or white at a wedding. The LBD is a classic, but mourning colors have no place at a wedding!!
I hate when people wear black to a a wedding…good advice
Yeah, no kidding…..no one should wear white to a wedding!
I had someone (a cousin) wear a black short, almost skanky dress with hot pink heels. To my other cousins wedding rehearsel her shirt said Do I make you look fat? And my other cousin is a big girl, I thought that was very inappropriate.
of course you dont wear white…you cant overshadow the bride!!
nice
I agree with ever tip!
I don’t see anything wrong with the black dress.
Nothing to revealing and short.
You know, I have no problem with people wearing black to weddings. I had several people wear black to mine. I didn’t think it was bad at all! Now, I did have one cousin wear white. Normally I would have agreed that this is a no-no, but she was giving us her beach house for a week for the honeymoon, so…honestly, she could have worn anything she wanted!
dont look like a ho at the wedding
lol hhaaha
The little black dress is so classic, why not wear it to the wedding?
I agree with the no jeans rule.
What’s better: flip flops or bare feet? (I prefer the latter, but don’t think it matters).
Certain people can wear pant suits.
No white = no brainer.
I love the dress in the middle
