Dreamy? Duh. The well-flanneled, floppy-haired “My So-Called Life” heartthrob would have captured our teenage hearts too, but now we’re older, wiser, and can see Jordan Catalano for the bad boyfriend he really was. He was aloof, emotionally unavailable and any displays of good boyfriendhood (think hand-holding) seemed a mere experiment for him to test. Plus, he was in a band, which should have signaled his bad boyfriend status immediately (“Freaks and Geeks” devoted drummer and Lindsay Weir lover Nick Andopolos being the exception to the rule, obviously). With wiser eyes, we can totally see now that Angela Chase should have picked Brian Krakow from the get-go!
