Sure, we may be Team Aidan, but even we would have run into the arms of Mr. Big after dealing with Carrie Bradshaw’s insensitive, work-obsessed boyfriend Aleksandr Petrovsky. Sure, the Russian artist initially wooed Carrie with his poems and music and old-school romances, even sweeping her off to Paris to live with him. Sounds too good to be true, right? Right. We should’ve known that when Aleksandr flippantly said “I’m finished with New York,” Carrie should have been finished with him too! Once they got to France, Petrovsky accidentally slapped our beloved heroine, broke her favorite nameplate necklace and ditched her for artsy fartsy French friends. Needless to say, “The Russian” gets the award for our least favorite “Sex and the City” fella ever!
