DIY Your Own Fashion Week Nail Art
Diagonal French Manis @ Veronica Beard

Veronica Beard models flaunted French manicures with a twist: diagonally-halved nails. The fashionable fingertips boasted the oh-so-trendy wine hue contrasted with a neutral nude.
What You’ll Need:
Essie “Bordeaux” Nail Polish ($8 on essie.com).
What You’ll Do:
1. Prepare your nails with a clear or nude coat before adding any color.
2. Paint the color of your choice on your tips in either a diagonal shape (swipe the color on one diagonal half of the nail) or in a classic line on the top of your tips. If it helps, cover part of your nail with tape so the line will be even—don’t peel it off until nails are dry!
3. Swipe on a clear topcoat to make sure it lasts.

Post a CommentI like the sexy stripes best….
The blown glass look is pretty, but again, too pointy.
Blood dripping? Good for Halloween or Goth parties.
The gingham pattern is cute but those nails are too pointy.
I really like the diagonal French mani.
The first one doesn’t look quite right.
nice
Not a fan of the pointy nails either but I do love the nail trends and various techniques for nail art. I absolutely love ESSIE!
Cute.
Cute look for short nails.
I too am not a fan of any of these styles. I do alot of typing at work, and I am the family’s hairstylist, and chef so my polish chips quite often. Does anyone have a solution for that?
Not a fan of any of these looks or the pointy nails.
