Last-Minute Summer Beers to Throw Back Now
Blue Moon

Nothing hits the spot quite like this citrusy favorite and when you’re not in the mood for anything sugary, tart, or herbal, simply demand Blue Moon. This Belgian-style ale may be creamy and overflowing with hearty oats and wheat, but it’s wonderfully smooth and frosty enough to give 90+ degree evenings a much-needed chill. This Colorado-bred brew highlights a twist of zesty Valencia orange peels, which is faintly sweet, but with a welcoming spicy finish. Not only can you order Blue Moon Ale in nearly any bar, but it’s also available year-round. Sounds like a major win to us!

Post a CommentSure, Blue Moon is “Colorado-bred,” because it is made by Miller-Coors, one of the two robber barons of the brewing industry in this country. There are much, much better examples of this style out there, and this hardly resembles a true Belgian.
