Fall TV Preview: 5 New Shows We’ll Be Watching This Fall
It’s that time of the year again ladies, that gracious time when you can stop brainlessly watching all-day “Real Housewives” marathons because there’s simply nothing else on. No, it’s finally time for all your favorite shows to yet again grace your TV screen every week! And sure, we’ve had our top shows’ premiere dates circled on our calendars all summer, but that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t leave a few TiVo spots open for some of fall’s fab new shows. From Mindy Kaling’s rom com-obsessed, unlucky-in-love Ob/Gyn on “The Mindy Project” to the hot firefighters saving lives and setting hearts aflame on “Chicago Fire,” these are the TV folks we’ll be hanging out with come fall.

The Mindy Project

This past Sunday, us Shecksters got a sneak peek of Fox’s new comedy “The Mindy Project,” the brainchild of “The Office” star Mindy Kaling, who writes, produces and stars in the show (go girl!), and we can confidently tell you that you’re going to want to clear your schedule Tuesday nights at 9:30 p.m. this fall to watch the hilarious antics of Mindy and co. as they navigate work, romance and sometimes both at the same time. Spoiler: the first episode alone features hallucinations, an arrest, a birth, a breakdown and a reference to Michael Fassbender’s penis (seriously)! We’re already hooked on the bubbling love triangle between Mindy and her hot doctor coworkers played by Ed Weeks and Chris Messina, and with her verbatim quoting of Meg Ryan movies and penchant for glitter and sarcasm, Mindy may just be this side of the pond’s Bridget Jones. Can’t wait until the Sept. 25th premiere? Watch the pilot online now!
