6 Tips to Make You a Master Thrift Shopper
Loose Clothes

When thrift shopping, you absolutely must try everything on! Looking for your specific size doesn’t help because sizes and fits have drastically changed over the years. A size 4 from the 1950s might be closer to a modern size 2. To make trying on clothes easy, you’ll want to wear something that fits nice and loose so that you don’t have any trouble taking it on and off throughout the day. Try a loose-fitting maxi dress like this Stripe Long Scoop Back Dress ($50 from americanapparel.net) or this A-line Maxi Dress ($60 from americanapparel.net). These dresses will keep you comfortable all day. If you are vintage shopping at a flea market, you’ll find it more difficult to try clothes on, but in a loose dress you’ll be able to pull clothes on under your dress.

I don’t shop for clothes at Thrift Stores, but with the way things are going I am going to start.
LOve love love these tips, I love thrift shopping
Normally I don’t go to thrift stores but I have been to a few in La jolla, Pb and hillcrest around San Diego. Sometimes you can find great buys. I have some rules when buying thrift clothes like no underwears or garmets or certain hats. I’ve read that some items will still care certain pest/bacteria after you wash it. I know someone who said she got crabs from wearing some else bathing suit. I believe her she was only 13 a the time. So you have to careful.
wow thats horrible! I wouldn’t buy anything that you wear under your clothes like that.
