Flats & Footies

If you are planning on an all-day thrift shopping spree, the last thing that you want to be concerned about is your aching toes. So go ahead and put on your cutest comfortable flats like these Huesca Black Satin Loafers ($80 from aldoshoes.com). Your feet will have good support and a minimal heel to avoid any backache from being on your feet all day. Make sure you wear a pair of thin socks or footies like these Fishnet Low Cut Socks ($8 from americanapparel.net) so that you can easily slip your feet in and out of any beautiful vintage shoes you want to try on!

Normally I don’t go to thrift stores but I have been to a few in La jolla, Pb and hillcrest around San Diego. Sometimes you can find great buys. I have some rules when buying thrift clothes like no underwears or garmets or certain hats. I’ve read that some items will still care certain pest/bacteria after you wash it. I know someone who said she got crabs from wearing some else bathing suit. I believe her she was only 13 a the time. So you have to careful.
