How to Host a Perfect Pop-Up Dinner Party
What to Bring

The key to planning a successful pop-up dinner party is portability. You won’t everything you bring to easily be transported to your desired setting, so that means stocking up on folding tables (at least two, one for dining and one for prep work), folding chairs and yes, plenty of Tupperware for all of your delicious dinner dishes! If you’re nervous about transporting ceramic dishes or china (we would be too!), we suggest going for no-shatter melamine options, like these pretty printed Kaleidobug Melamine Plates from Anthropologie ($1.95-$4.95 on anthropologie.com). Along with silverware, you can bring breakables like wine glasses or flower vases securely wrapped in cloth napkins, which you can then use to set your table!
Tablecloths and napkins add a lot of color to your table space, plus you can bring fresh flowers to brighten things up, but our favorite idea is bringing battery-operated LED-lights or Paper LED Battery Lanterns ($5.95-$7.95 on paperlanternstore.com), which will serve both fashion and function, adding a romantic atmosphere to your dinner-party while also providing light. Also, remember to bring trash bags so that you leave your setting the way you found it!
