From his bedazzled grill to his winged sneakers, it’s obvious that the swimming sensation has a great sense of humor and definitely doesn’t take himself too seriously. Free-spirited and fun-loving, Lochte made fun of Phelps’s much-publicized domination of the sport by jokingly wearing tees touting “Google Me” and “Hi! My Name is ______” prior to the games, and pranked fellow swimmers by putting Icy Hot in their Speedos. But he doesn’t just reserve his irreverent humor for friends or competitors—he’s been known to poke fun at himself and his meathead reputation too. Jeah!
