10 Inspirational Female Olympians
Lolo Jones

American hurdler Lolo Jones has proven to be incredibly determined, talented and giving. Born into an impoverished family in Idaho, Lolo did whatever she could to live out her dreams of being a track star. After clipping the 9th hurdle and coming in 7th place in the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Lolo went on to become number two in the world in 2010 and number 1 in the US. When she’s not in London competing for the USA track and field team, Lolo gives back to the community, including donating thousands of dollars to her high school track and field program and buying each young runner a new pair of running shoes.
