Matching Couples: The Couple That Dresses Together, Stays Together?
Mariah Carey & Nick Cannon

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon may not have been born in matching decades, but the cougar and her young cub are known to rock matching outfits on occasion. When the duo exchanged vows, Mariah’s white wedding dress with black accents was perfectly paired with Nick’s black and white tux and ever since then, the matching has continued. From Halloween costumes to matching (awful!) brown outfits, apparently it’s their thing.

Post a CommentMy boyfriend and I haven’t missed a day of matching in over a year now. Other people think it’s pointless and silly or that we just do it for attention. The attention is nice but we are closer than other couples because of it. Matching/color-coordination has created a unique bond between us… It used to create some stress, trying to get dressed in a hurry and making sure our shades of green or blue would match perfectly. But finishing each other’s sentences can’t compare to agreeing on a Sunday morning outfit before we even discuss it.
For us, every day starts with agreeing on something… getting on the same page. This is why I hope to never “grow out of” matching.
