Mother’s Day Movie Marathon: Flicks You’ll Both Love
Terms of Endearment
Duh. Did you really think we’d leave off the Citizen Kane of weepy mother-daughter movies? Blasphemy! Don’t just grab a box of tissues, grab a freaking bucket because you’ll be full-fledged sobbing as you bond over the ups and downs of mother-daughter pair Aurora (Shirley MacLaine) and Emma (Debra Winger) over the span of three decades in the 1983 Oscar-winning flick, from marriage to illness to loss. It may be a sad one to get through, but it’ll definitely make you appreciate your mama!

Post a CommentWell, my mom and I did both love Little Miss Sunshine. A lot of these movies we couldn’t both watch– I wouldn’t touch Terms of Endearment with a ten foot pole, she’ll never sit down for Carrie– but Little Miss Sunshine was sweet in a really quirky way. And I guess so are my mom and I.
