The Met Gala came and went Monday night, bringing together a slew of stylish stars for what’s affectionately known as the “Superbowl of Fashion.” The star-studded affair consistently churns out memorable style moments, but frankly, this year’s offerings were pretty meh. There was some safely pretty styles, like Dianna Agron‘s emerald Carolina Herrera ensemble and Hilary Swank‘s Michael Kors gown, more than a few fashion missteps—see Amy Adam‘s glaring Christmas bow, Amy Poehler‘s unfortunate feathers and Cameron Diaz‘s There’s Something About Mary ‘do (“Is that hair gel?”)—plus a whole lot of downright fugly parading down the red carpet. But no worries fashionistas—I’ve still managed to wrangle up the best and worst looks of this year’s gala for all your ogling pleasures!
The stylish starlet rocked a retro-glam look at the Costume Institute’s Gala on Monday, sporting a slinky silver Ralph Lauren beaded gown with an alluringly sheer low-cut neckline. The 10,000 BC actress paired the flawlessly fitted frock with Ralph Lauren Vintage Collection jewelry and kept her beauty look bold with Cabernet-colored lips and her signature full brows that are right on trend for spring. A+ in my book!
