This one was a little polarizing at the time, but we still love the unexpected color combination Cameron Diaz pulled off at the 2007 Met Gala. Sure, the hot fuchsia Christian Dior couture gown is a little prom-ish, but it fits like a glove and is super flattering on her athletic frame, plus the punch of the chunky turquoise jewelry makes it more fashion-forward and plays up her bright blue eyes. A side-swept updo gives it that signature casual Cali girl look Diaz is known for—it’s a haute home run in our book!
