Off to the Races: Kentucky Derby Fashion
The Kentucky Derby is one of the most anticipated events of the year, but don’t be fooled, the Kentucky Derby isn’t all about the horses—it’s about the fashion, honey! Even celebs join in on the fun, with lovely ladies like Kim Kardashian, LeAnn Rimes, and Miranda Lambert snapped sporting the infamous hat. Sure, while us gals can’t help admiring those sexy boys riding them stallions, truth is, our eyes are glued on that hat, those shoes, and that dress! And not just any hat-shoe-dress, there’s a specific Derby attire to follow. Because wearing the wrong outfit at the Derby is like going to P. Diddy’s “All White Affair” in pink. Yikes! Nowhere near the Kentucky Derby..so I need a reason to wear a floppy hat and sip on mint juleps…summer, where are you?
Wish wide brim hats fit better on my head or came adjustable for small brained…err head sized chicks.
Love these styles, especially the purse – but not so sure about the derby and the mistreatment of horses.
