The Pros & Cons of Being Busty
In a few short weeks, everyone will be excitedly breaking out the bikinis for Memorial Day weekend, and I will be secretly harboring two not-so-small balls of dread. Yes, my friends, I’m talking ‘bout my boobs. The sunny months of spring and summer are simultaneously the best and worst times to be a well-endowed woman. Sure, you may be thinking “if you got it, flaunt it!” but when my D-sporting self flaunts it in a bikini top, I get mistaken for a flotation device. And obviously yes, there are perks to being, er, perky, but there are surprisingly just as many downfalls to touting bigger ta-tas. So here they are ladies—the pros and cons of being busty:

PROS:
Men Love ‘Em: I will never understand the mystical magic these puppies have over men (is it nature or nurture?), but for some strange reason, men simply love breasts. To them, it’s the more, the merrier, and it’s definitely easy catching the eye of the hot guy across the room when he’s caught sight of your lovely lady lumps.
Free Stuff: From free drinks at the bar to complimentary extra schmear on my bagel at the deli, having junk in the front can randomly—and awesomely—gets you gratis gifts throughout the day.
Tops Look Terrific: You will never have a problem filling out any blouse or bust line. V-neck, boat neck, turtleneck—you name it, it’ll look fabulous filled out with your fuller chest.
They’re Sexy Even Covered Up: Just look at the ’60s-style outfits bodacious babe Christina Hendricks is always sporting in Mad Men. No cleavage is shown and yet she’s still serving up some serious va-va-voom!
They’re Fun And Functional: Sure, we all know breasts have a natural function to feed and all, but sometimes they’re just great to play with. They’re good vehicles for body shots, can hold your money or lipstick when you don’t feel like bringing out a purse, and they’re a great remote rest for when you’re laying in bed watching TV!
Cleavage Always: Wonderbras are simply not a word in our vocabulary. There’s no padding or pushing up needed here—Mother Nature bestowed us bustier babes with effortless cleavage primed and ready to be admired at all times.

Post a CommentI am going to get a sport bra so I can exercise more
Why are all the cute bras only in small sizes?
Every Woman with big boobs need a longline bra
I would have mine go down a size if possible. Sometimes they just don’t look right in certain clothes and they get to much attention.
I was a 28 G and I hated it. I started to get all sorts of problems, so I had a medically-necessary reduction. I’m now a 28 B/C and loving it. It hurt for the first couple days, but was worth not having anymore back and shoulder pain, shoulder grooves, poor posture, or breathing difficulties.
I suggest that every woman should get a long line bra it is neat and it fix well and when you lose weight it make a difference
I am a proud Dcup!!!! I lean towards the pro list but I must say I do envy flat chested girls sometimes when theres a cute top that requires small breasts to pull off just as the first line on the con list says. But above all, I would never want to be less than I am now. I dread the idea of having breast cancer such as my aunt did and having to live without them.
I’m a B-cup gal, so having bigger breasts seems slightly ideal….
I’ve never ever been flat . So show what you got , but who you with let them buy whatever for you. not to put them in awkward situations .
Thanks for this!
Just forget about finding a button blouse that will actually button, i’ve never found one . Lol
This is all so true
This blog is my life. I yelled “OMG, YES!”, at every con. Lol.
I love my boobs
Thanks for the article!
Though I have to say about one of those ‘PRO’s, sure, it’s hard not to look good when you’re packing serious boobage, but as to ‘tops always flattering’… I have so much trouble finding nice tops that actually FIT! It might look fine and dandy for a top to stretch a little tight across the girls, but too tight and it’s just not comfortable…
Same thing I thought… Tops always flattering? Uh, not so much!
Button up blouses. If they fit around the DDD’s, they hang on the shoulders. Even the best strapless bra is no match.
I just safety pinned THREE sections on the placket of my button up shirt today!!!
The ‘cons’ ahh yes … there’s always that dark side… but you forgot to mention the ‘trenches’ the bra strap leaves on your shoulders! ugh…
The trenches!!! Yes!!!
love the ‘pro’ list lol lol lol
Large ta ta’s can be good because they can fill out an outfit and make it look sexy. That too can go the wrong way. I know V-Necks help “minimize”. Either way whatever you have, A- – to FFF or Z (if there’s such a size), flaunt what you have because we all are sexy.
Con: Some tops and blouse may make u look bigger that what u are. I have to get certain tops and blouses tailored because I have a small waist with big boobs.
