Nowadays, it’s not an uncommon sight to see a gent parked next to you in a pedicure chair at the salon. Since the rise of the metrosexual in the early aughts, men have been taking on treatments usually reserved for us ladies, from eyebrow waxes to spray tans to man-icures. Hell, they’ve tried everything…or so we thought. Enter the brozilian—yep, it’s exactly what it sounds like. The “he-wax” trend is spreading to salons all over the country, with loads of lads jumping on the bald babymaker bandwagon. Now, we’re all for guy grooming, but does this cross the line into grossness?  Let’s weigh the pros and cons, shall we?

PRO: Easy access. Think of it this way—if I need a machete to navigate my way through his man jungle, that’s an issue that needs to be taken care of pronto!
CON: On the flip side, it’s nice to leave some room for the imagination. Too much hair removed and his wobbly bits will start to look like the parts that come inside a turkey on Thanksgiving.

PRO: Men will finally realize that we’re not being overly dramatic when we say it’s like they’re ripping out a piece of our souls with every wax strip. Once they feel the searing hot wax and excruciating rip of hair, they will definitely get it.
CON: Now we’ll only have periods and childbirth left to use against them in battle-of-the-sexes arguments.

PRO: Brazilians make your boy’s boys look bigger. With a little extra, er, cockiness, your man will be feeling super confident in the sack, which will definitely be to your benefit!
CON: You know that whole spiel that “objects in this mirror are much closer than they appear”? Well in the brozilian’s case, it’s the opposite—let’s just say there’s a big difference between a show-er and a grower.

PRO: If men expect us ladies to get Brazilians, should we not expect the same in return?
CON: What’s next—pe-jazzling?!
