How Bromantic: Our Fave Famous Guy-Pals

Paul Newman & Robert Redford

Before Matt and Ben, Brad and George and all those other bromantic boys, there was Hollywood’s original bromance, Paul and Robert. Hell, these two were bromantic before bromance was even a word! The legendary duo, who shared serious heartthrob status back in their heyday, co-starred in classic flicks like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and The Sting. Laying the foundation for future pranking pairs, Redford jokingly sent Newman a dented, engine-less Porsche as a birthday gift one year and as payback, Newman had the car crushed and sent right back to him. Their close friendship spanned 40 years—now that’s what I call a bromance!

I am a big fan of the bromance. Hard to beat Redford and Newman, of course, but I do love RDJ and Jude Law…

But– you missed my favourite Brit bromance, Stephen Fry and Hugh Laurie.
