Great Expectations: Dating Fantasy Vs. Reality
Scenario#7: He’s Your Personal Comedian

Be funny, be funny, be funny—that was my ex-boyfriend’s job. Well, not exactly, but he was the funniest guy I had ever met and I was addicted to his jokes. Who cares if he was busy, or was watching the news—I wanted to laugh and that was final. “I’m not your personal comedian,” he would say, and although I pressured him into being “funny” all the time, I did learn one thing: if you want funny, date a stand-up comedian! Don’t expect your boo to always be performing for you—hell, even comedians get a day off sometimes!
