Pretty Peplum For Every Style
Peplum’s becoming the shape for spring, gracing countless runways and red carpets this season. Not familiar with the peplum trend? The retro-inspired style features a short “overskirt” attached to dresses, top and jackets to create a va-va-voom hourglass figure. Popular shows like Mad Men have brought the vintage, ladylike look to the present, and I love it for its femininity and figure-flattering features. Peplum’s perfect for spring, so check out these fab ways to wear the style!

The simplest way to rock a peplum-style top is with skinny jeans or a slim cut skirt. Try this Neon Sheer Stripe Peplum Top ($49 on bebe.com) and you’ll be on top of the season’s two hottest trends–bright colors and peplum! This neon green and heather grey striped top boasts cap sleeves, a crew neck and feminine flare at the waist. Add a necklace for extra fun!

Post a CommentThe peplum blazer is kind of awful. It looks like denim which is NOT peplum sexy.
I love the look and idea of peplum but it’s just not a look that I can rock. I’m a little too curvy already! Curse you ample hips!!!
Seems like a great style for fuller figured women who want to smooth out areas OR for women without much shape. Im totally diggin the peplum… time for some shopping.
