Sure, the luck of the Irish might be commonly associated with pots ‘o gold, rainbows and tiny green guys with red hair, but there are a good lot of Gaelic-blooded guys whose gorgeousness makes me believe in magical four-leaf clovers. Important to note: many of them have played superheroes/bad asses. Coincidence? I think not. Here are Irish-born and Irish-American boys I heart.

I’m going to have to rescind my statement that these dudes “played” bad asses. Dublin-born Colin Farrell is actually a bad boy. This Irish Rover is a baby daddy to kids from multiple mamas, allegedly starred in a sex tape, has been to rehab and was also BFF with the late Liz Taylor. Although his film appearances lately could use a little boost (Fright Night, anyone?!), he won a Golden Globe for Best Actor in the film In Bruges at one point, so I know the talent is there somewhere!
