Modern-Day Style Inspired by Old-Hollywood Starlets
Now that Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week is over and we have a few fresh ideas on runway trends, I can’t help but look (longingly) to the past and covet the style of a few classic starlets. Here’s a look back at old-fashioned beauties, and way to snag their chicness right now!

Rita Hayworth was the epitome of a vixen, famous for her sexy, dipping necklines. ASOS’ Sundress With Halter Neck (SALE: $35.81) is reminiscent of Rita’s typical halter-cut, figure-cinching frocks, but the shorter hemline and red hue modernize it just a notch. Add an art-deco accessory like 1928 Jewelry’s Spring Jet Baubles Stretch Bracelet ($20) as another nod to Rita’s era. Curl your hair, put a flower behind your ear and fool people into thinking you really are the gorgeous Gilda star.
