DIY Valentine’s Day Night In

1 2 3 4 5 6 7

Single for V-Day? This isn’t one of those mushy-gushy posts about guys or finding love. In this post, the ladies from KC You There are celebratin’ singledom with a good ol’ dose of DIYness. Use any or all of these tips to throw a fab girls-only gathering, on a budget!

DIY Invites

Who doesn’t love a handwritten note…especially when it involves a “girls-only” V-Day night in? These invites use paint chips (one of our fave store samples) and take all of five minutes to create! If you’d like to get more technical, add some glitter and feel free to layer. The doilies can be found at your local dollar store for $1 and the paint chips are samples from a local paint shop…so they’re FREE!

What you’ll need:

Pink | red paint chips (rectangular or tall)

Doilies

Mod Podge

Small paint brush

What you’ll do:

Spread Mod Podge on the corner of your paint chip. Place the paint chip on the bottom of the doily and tilt the doily to stick out on a slant.

This DIY is a 2-in-1, as paint chips work as great menu cards. Just like your invites, you can create custom menu cards for a perfect dinner party!
