Be Yours This Valentine’s Day
WRITE YOURSELF A LOVE LETTER

We spend so much time adoring others in our lives that sometimes we forget about our biggest love of all—ourselves. Take an hour out of your day to sit down and write a letter of adoration to yourself. Start by listing out all the things about yourself that you love and appreciate. What are you most proud of about yourself? What are your greatest achievements? What do your friends love about you? There is so much goodness to write about…we just never take the time to do it. Once you’re done, seal it with a kiss and mail it to yourself. Make sure it’s in your mailbox on or before Valentine’s Day!
If you’re not in the mood to do anything this Valentine’s Day, that’s okay, too. This is ONE day out of the year; you and the other 100 million* singles in the U.S. will get through it.
*About 100 million Americans, nearly half of all adults, are unmarried, according to the Census Bureau!
GIRL TALK TIME: What do you think of these suggestions? How are you celebrating V-Day? Are you single or attached?

Post a CommentI was so much interested in the be yours blog post because I will end up being my own Valentine which isn’t such a bad thing cause I plan to buy myself some chocolates as well as my own dinner at applebee’s
Vday dinner will be made for myself
Great gift idea for work
I love this time. I have done Volunteer Work for years with the aging population. This is the best day to do volunteer work. So many elderly peoples has no one to show them love and someone to care about them on Valentine Day
Excellent – I remember those days and I always celebrated with the ones I loved – whoever they were.
Two thumbs up
#5 is good
Great time to get together with your closeset GF’s for lunch or even the day or weekend before to do a pre-Vday celebrating. That way you make it about those important in your life than just a romatic thing!
Interesting
great tips.
Secret VDay is such a great idea for a group of girlfriends or to mix things up, even guy friends just to put them on the spot and give them ‘more practice’
I am wearing RED on V Day.
