Budget-Friendly Ideas for a Romantic V-Day Dinner
Don’t freak because you haven’t made a reservation at the swankiest eatery in town for February 14th. Sure, it’s nice to chow down on a fancy feast while gazing into your lover’s eyes on the most PDA-friendly day of the year. But that’s not always possible on a tight budget. (And PDA is really annoying.)
Instead of bringing your bank account down to negative numbers to treat your boyfriend to an overpriced steak, plan an affordable but very romantic meal at home with tips from Celebrations.com!
Create a personalized menu—something hearty with a few tasty sides—that you both can prep together. Shop around and find a great bottle of deep red wine to share. Newer bottles from Central America have a lower price point and are just as tasty.
While you’re at it, make a beautiful table setting with candles and roses, put together a playlist of slow songs and write your man a love note—with paper and pen (no typing!) Turn off your cell and focus on the guy at your side.
See, J-Lo really put it best—love don’t cost a thing! Read more ideas for a budget-friendly V-Day dinner in the privacy of your own home at [Celebrations.com]!

Hubby will be away this year for V-day…So we will have dinner another nite…But I like this idea and might pay my oldest to take the 2 younger ones to dinner so daddy and I can stay home and have dinner alone…
Last year for Valentine’s Day it was our first together as a married couple. We reserved a hotel in NYC and had dinner at a very nice seafood restaurant and walked and took in the sites of NY since it was my hubby’s first time. Very nice…..
