5 Beauty Resolutions for a Whole New You

1 2 3 4 5

Guess who just celebrated a birthday? Yours truly! I turned 27 on January 2nd. With my bday and the start of each new year coinciding, I am always inspired to try new stuff beauty-wise. Whether it’s challenging myself with new techniques or experimenting with different products, I love the thrill that comes with reinventing myself. But don’t think that you have to go through drastic measures to get a makeover! It’s amazing what a few changes to your beauty routine can do for your overall appearance.

Resolve to find: a new foundation – Is your foundation just so-so? Then it’s time for a new one! If you’ve been faithful to the same foundation brand for the past few years, take a walk on the wild side and try something new.

Spend an hour or so at Sephora, Ulta or your favorite department store and play around with the different foundations. Consult with the beauty professionals and have them test swatches on your skin to see what works best for you!

I had all but one of these in my pack of “resolutions”. I actually started out with a new skincare regimen, I bought philosophy great skin is in thinking it would be okay. It was NOT. My face is covered in hives at the moment, but sadly I don’t know what it was that caused it.

Def. want to get a new foundation too since I’ve been using BE for the last several years. Not sure what to go with, though.

Also want to look into the ombre (sp?) dye…I’m just not that into dying my hair, so on the fence with that.

I’ve tried different types of foundations but my skin is very sensitive that I’ve decided to just go with the natural look!

I got my eye makeup routine down last year. Now, it’s time to find a new lip color. Doing a new beauty routine each year is also a good reminder to ditch all your expired cosmetics!

I don’t wear a lot of foundation. More of Natural Person.

#5 I’m going totally natural on my hair color. My hair stylist agrees. She loves my natural color
