So, you started out the year single? Don’t sit around and stew over a bad breakup or that gorg guy you went on one date with who never called after. It’s 2012, and even though dating-related resolutions are kind of lame, it’s never a bad time to put yourself out there for the man of your dreams to suddenly sweep you off your feet. Okay, it’s not that easy, but visit a few of these places where men are aplenty and—who knows—you might get a number or a date!

ELECTRONICS STORE

You shopped the iPhone accessories aisle and lusted over the flat-screens, but have you tried man shopping at your local electronics store? Next time you stop at Best Buy, Radio Shack or the Apple store, try your hand at flirting amongst the laptops and printers, especially if you secretly get weak in the knees for nerdy guys.

Walk right up to a cute sales associate and ask a product-related question. Chances are he’ll lead you right to the appropriate section and chat you up about electronics. Even if it leads to nothing, at least you’ll walk away with a bit of insight on PC vs. Mac.

Another one of my favorite places to check out cute and/or muscular men is Home Depot. If you and your roommate need a light bulb, a trip to a home improvement store is great time to scope out men.
