Must-Buy Holiday Makeup Palettes

1 2 3 4 5 6

It’s holiday shopping time! I love shopping during the holidays because that means limited-edition makeup palettes that contain makeup, mirrors and often pro instructions at so-low prices. Snap up these pretty palettes as prezzies or simply gifts for yourself!

Smashbox always brings excitement with their holiday collections. Check out Smashbox’s popular Click You’re It Holiday Eye Palette ($49). You definitely get a lot of bang for your buck here—15 eyeshadows, five cream eyeliners and a Mini Photo Finish Lid Primer. Plus, for makeup novices, there are also instruction cards with numbers that correspond with the numbers on the palette. Easy breezy!

Lexi b.k.a LexiWithTheCurls started vlogging in October of 2008 as a hobby prior to the huge surge of African-American women going natural. She couldn’t find any women on YouTube with her hair texture at the time. Figuring that someone else was going through the same thing, she decided to make her own videos.

Lexi started out doing hair product reviews and hairstyle tutorials, and then branched out to interviewing celebrity stylists and brand owners, and even planning heavily anticipated natural hair events in the Atlanta area. Lexi also blogs daily on her site CurlsCoilsAndKinks.com and works as a Digital Marketer for a major gossip blog.

Oh, and P.S. the elf palettes are HORRIBLE!!! Tried em’ and every color turned out to be brownish…no pop or pizzaz!

I tend to enjoy buying small palettes…the larger ones are just so overwhelming sometimes! Too many choices! :)

these are very nice… i personally love ELF products. they are affordable and just as good as any other super expensive product(s) out there… to make my eyeshadow pop a little i use a lid primer (Kat Von D) and voila, shadow lasts all day, no creasing what so ever and the pigmentation is just fine ladies… try ‘em out for yourselves :)

I like it – a good way to try out different colors. Do you have photos of what the colors look like on? I’ve been trying out new makeover Taaz.com because sometimes I just have to see how a new color is going to look on me.

Just a warning, ELF’s palettes are not something I recommend the pigmentation in them isn’t very good compared to their other stuff.
