Guy Movies That We (Also) Love
Who said guns, fights and explosions were just for guys? Most men are shocked when I profess my love for violent gangster flicks, thinking my tastes should be relegated to the “chick flick only” arena. But stereotypical “guy movies” are just as awesome as a good romcom, if not more! So whether you love action-packed movies or are a gal who thinks she can’t stomach the gore, take a gander at my favorite testosterone-driven films and give ‘em a shot for your next movie night in…with or without your man.

The Godfather – If you haven’t seen The Godfather ($11.99 on Amazon.com) yet, you are missing out on one of the greatest, most influential movies of all time. Though it centers on the Sicilian Corleone mob family and their struggle to keep power, at the heart of this 1972 film is a tale of immigration and the American dream. And with director Francis Ford Coppola at the helm and Marlon Brando and Al Pacino at their finest, don’t be surprised if you wind up watching the entire trilogy in one sitting!
