Easy Tailgate Party Ideas
The weekend is almost here, which means it’s time for some football (college and NFL) to be watched by millions of adoring fans. So, don’t be the loser watching the game alone in your jersey this week. Throw a fabulous football bash for all of your friends.
Oh, don’t even like the sport, you say? With fun drinking games, super-scrumptious recipes, a solid playlist and more suggestions from Celebrations.com, I dare you not to by the end of this post!
Instead of serving up played-out and sloppy options like ribs and burgers, opt for neat li’l chicken wraps, spicy potato salad and chocolate grid iron dessert bars. These less-mess items will give you way more freedom to participate in drinking games like “Contact Drinking Game” (drink every time a player slaps another player’s butt, hehe!) or the “Announcers Play on Words Drinking Game” (take a swig when an announcer makes a corny play on words…this happens a lot and you’ll be forced to pay attention!).
Need a musical interlude during those commercial breaks? Pump your crowd up with songs like Queen’s “We Are the Champions” and Rolling Stones’ “Start Me Up.”
