Fall Denim for Every Shape!
Jeans, like great girlfriends (stay tuned for our National Girlfriend Awards winners, announced tomorrow!), can be hard to find. But once you’ve found some you really like, the bond is pretty unbreakable. Unsure what’s in for prime jean season (ahem, fall)? I’ve compiled a list of the season’s cutest jeans that will work with (not against) your body type. Sure, some of them are a splurge, but for a fit this fabulous, consider it an investment!

Pear Shape – Pear-shaped women have a tough time finding denim that fits well in their thighs, but won’t be too big in the waist. Try a high-rise wide legged jean like the Citizens of Humanity Hutton Trouser Jean ($178 on Piperlime.com). The higher cut will ensure the jeans fit at your waist without being too snug on your hips. Plus, the dark wash and wider pant leg will shave inches off those thighs!

I am in between a pear and hourglass shape. Dark wash bootcut and flare jeans seem to work the best. I absolutely love the brand Silver jeans. Good prices and great quality jeans!

I agree! I’m sorry, I love jeans just as much as the next woman but, I really can’t see myself blowing 190.00 on a pair of jeans!! THAT’S MY LIGHT BILL FOR THE MONTH. What am I suppose to tell my daughter “oh, baby the lights will be off but, come outside and see how sexy mommie’s butt looks in these new jeans!”

i agree that once you have a bond with your favorite pair of jeans its hard to break!

I wear Petit stretch Jeans. I wear Jeans more than anything else.
#5 – I know that shape wouldn’t look good on me.
#3 – I’m not petit (i’m tall), but the straight leg stretch jeans look best on me.
I’m not curvy so I don’t buy the baggy style.
I’m kinda boyish shaped but skinny jeans is a hard look to pull off for me. I can never find a pair that is really comfy.

i feel like im stuck in the skinny trend..but im more of a curvy girl im definitely a pear shape and i know bootcut will flatter best…
