Breaking Down Beauty Ingredients

1 2 3 4 5

Wandering the beauty aisles can be a daunting task. It’s not just about finding the perfect shade of nude lip gloss, part of the problem is we’re just not familiar with the ingredients and what they do. That’s why I’m giving you the scoop on some seriously great ingredients and, as always, some deals so you can get what you need. Give it a try—it’s a break for your face and your wallet!

A is for Apples. A product that’s flying off the shelves right now is the Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel Full Strength ($45). I always thought “natural” or “organic” was a bit too delicate and hippie to really be the industrial powerhouse I needed, but I was wrong. I was very wrong. Not to get all sciencey on you, but this is sort of interesting, and what makes the patented Green Apple Peel ingredients so powerful and effective is:

Malic Acid is from Green Apples
Citric Acid is from Lemons
Tartaric Acid is from Grapes
Salicylic Acid is from Willow bark (Full Strength Only)

It’s the unique combination of the above alpha and beta hydroxy acids from organic ingredients, along with raw cane sugar, that make this product so strong! The reason the organic ingredient part is important is because organics have 30-35% higher antioxidant and vitamin loads than non-organic ingredients.

BONUS: FREE Full-size hydrating mask with any purchase over $35 CODE Meg. Ends July 31st.

I loved Juice beauty ever since i received a sample in my birchbox! Yet to try Argan oil though but definitely will!

I would prefer to have a sample of some of these products to purchase at a less than premium rate to see if it’s something my skin could tolerate. It is out of my budget to pay that much for one product, but if I knew it did really good things, I could rearrange my budget.

A hundred seventy five dollars? I’m sure the stuff is great but that is not even one monthly credit card payment. Guess since I’m not wealthy or a spendthrift I’ll just have to look old, lol

I don’t really like trying too many new skin products when I know what is working for me, but this is some really good information.

It’s hard to try any different beauty products, my skin is so sensitive and I’m allergic to a lot of the ingrediants and chemicals they put in products.

I’m a bit hesitant to splurge on a product when I don’t know how my skin will react to it. But all these products sound really interesting. The Argan oil is one that I would most likely buy as I have some scars I would love to make fade.

I’ve tried Signature Club A argan oil kit. It was okay. Not as moisturizing as I thought it would be. I might try another brand since I keep hearing good things about argan oil.

Gold products, interesting. I’m not sure though if I believe the claims.
