Bon Appetit: Bastille Day Dishes & Drinks

If you’re looking to make the most elegant cocktail pretty much ever (or if you’re Marie Antoinette…?), try the sumptuous Rio Royale made with Tito’s Handmade Vodka. A fancy-smashing combo of strawberries, champagne, vanilla and more make for one decadent drink. Lady-in-waiting to serve you? Not included, unfortunately.

Rio Royale

Created for Tito’s Handmade Vodka By Aaron Reed, Austin, TX

1 ½ oz. Strawberry & Vanilla infused Tito’s Handmade Vodka (recipe below)

Sparkling white wine or champagne

Strawberry Infusion:

1 liter of Tito’s Handmade Vodka

1 vanilla bean, split

1 pint of fresh strawberries, stemmed and cut into quarters

Combine ingredients in a glass jar or bottle, shake well, allow to rest for several days until desired flavor is achieved.

To build cocktail:

Chill 1 ½ oz. Strawberry & Vanilla infused Tito’s

Pour into a champagne flute

Top with your favorite sparkling white wine and a split strawberry
