Vacations That Give Back

1 2 3 4 5

If what to do with any looming vacation time has you at a loss, why not opt for going on a trip that gives back? It’s easier than ever to simultaneously escape your hometown while doing something good for others, and with nearly endless possibilities, you can be overseas and volunteering before you know it!

-Lynden Halpern

No matter what continent you’re jonesing to visit, Cross Cultural Solutions probably has a destination for you. With programs in countries from Ghana to Peru, you’ll be expanding your horizons while doing something supremely beneficial like helping out at an orphanage. If you only have a week’s time, opt for Insight Abroad trips which are shorter-term volunteer opportunities available in eight countries!

I’d rather help those at home in the U.S. as they seem to be forgotten & abandoned due to people focusing more on folks overseas.Children here shouldn’t have to go hungry.

This is a phenomenal initiative. I often volunteer in the US and send money/clothing, etc to countries abroad since my parents are from central america. However, I would love the opportunity to volunteer abroad.
