Best U.S. Beaches in Your Backyard
It’s nearly beach season, but that doesn’t mean a wallet-draining vacation to another corner of the country or the world needs to be in the works. Shecksters from every state can take in the sand and surf at one of these five beaches, all easily reachable right here in the United States, all just as beautiful as any international escape. Pack your bathing suit, beach essentials and SPF, and get going!

Cape Haterras, North Carolina

The Outer Banks may sound like a far-away land, but it’s actually right in your backyard if you’re an East Coaster. Located in North Carolina, The Outer Banks has long since been a popular vacation destination due to its historical significance, close proximity to numerous East Coast locales and gorgeous scenery. Hatteras Island is home to Cape Haterras and a stretch of shore over 70 miles long that’s ideal for beach babes looking for a close-by escape. Plus, for all our sappy Shecksters, Rodanthe (as in Nights in Rodanthe) is a town in The Outer Banks. Single and coupled-up chicas alike will for sure feel the romance when they head here.

Post a CommentBeautiful beaches!!!! We have beautiful beaches here in New England too!
I could drive to outer banks a bit of a road trip but prob worth it. Thank you for sharing some of the best beaches here. I live in NJ and the Jersey Shore is nice but the actual water not so much.
WTF??? Why can’t I email this to someone, Facebook or twitter. Don’t they know Facebook is dead, just look at the ads they have on Facebook. 80% are for fake companies (sham-wow towl, online universities offering tv repair degrees, and mail order bride sites).
