Thought Your Prom Dress Was Bad?
Prom season is here! Lest you cringe at all the limos and brightly colored pouf gowns, remembering your own prom night with your junior-year boyfriend who told fart jokes plus your own teased-up hair and ill-fitting bustier dress, please take a look at some prom photos from famous people.
That’s right, People.com has dug up some puh-retty embarrassing photogs of stars on their big night. And although some styles, like Tyra’s plunging neckline, may seem a little scandalous, many of the celebs were quick to say that they did not put out on prom night (hmm…). Aside from the chastity claims, there are a few other surprises. Paula Deen at her prom…sans the white hair! Ellen DeGeneres in a plaid dress and platforms, and one star who seriously took him mom to the prom.

Junior year I donned little braids in my then bright-blonde hair (taking the hippie phase too far), and senior year I wore a pretty rad corset top dress with a long black skirt (just minus the dorky date I was in love with, please!).

Some prom dresses are worse than bridesmaid dresses b/c you’re the one who picked out the dress and thought you looked good in it too! At least with Bridesmaid dresses, you can blame it all on the bride….

Funny, I got my dress from the Guinie Sax’s outlet. Anyone remember that place in San Francisco. Good memories with my friends going there to shop. Also the Espriit outlet.
Prom ~ Wow, mine was sooo long ago. The dress was a simple off-white halter with a knotted bow under the breast, don’t remember the shoes. The hairstyle was pretty much the problem, I now laugh at the picture when I see it. Overall, I’m happy I went to my prom.
I love Ellen. I went through 3 choices of dresses and finally bought one that happened to be on clearance for under $20 or something. I loved it.
