Love at First Sight for These Celebs?
There are some duos that undoubtedly go together. Spaghetti and meatballs. Peanut butter and jelly. Kristin Cavallari and Jay Cutler? Yep, according to the former The Hills “star,” her and Cutler (pictured left) knew immediately that they would spend their lives together. Cavallari even goes so far as to say that she will move to Chicago for Cutler who is a quarterback for the Bears, and that she also can’t wait to be a wife.
Hmm. TheFrisky.com has compiled a laundry list of couples who claim it was love at first sight. Others featured? Newly-ish weds Katy Perry and Russel Brand as well as Tom Ford and Richard Buckley. Ford was even quoted to have said that he knew he’d marry Buckley from the moment they met in an elevator.
I consider myself an eternal optimist and a hopeless romantic, so I certainly fall into the category of those who believe in love at first sight. While I’m willing to acknowledge that it takes time to get to know someone and further, to love them, I think it’s absolutely possible to feel something for someone upon first meeting. Post a CommentI’m not one to say it doesn’t exist, I’m just one to say I have not experienced it. It has to be a great feeling to say it was love at first site. I think all the stars who proclaimed love at first site can make it last as long as its not lust at first site. Keep all focus on each other and keep all inside influence out of the relationship all can last this goes for us common folks and or relationships also.
I never watched the Hills so I don’t know who these people are.

I wouldn’t say it’s love at first sight. Let’s see how long these two will last. I hope she doesn’t distract him and make him play crappy for our city.

Okay, so all the celebs “in love at first sight” make me sorta skeptical (hello, they’re always breaking up or getting divorced after proclaiming this), but I HAVE fallen for someone at first sight. I wouldn’t call it LOVE straight off the bat, but it was a weird, very magnetic attraction that I had never experienced before. Three years after this “first sight” encounter, and we’re still together, so go figure!
