Whether you buy an accessory made of recycled materials, a biodegradable beauty product, or all or none of the above, there are tons of ways to celebrate Earth Day (which is officially tomorrow!) any day. We asked our Staffers how they help Mama Earth. Read what they have to say and be sure to weigh in with your own tips!

I recycle little shopping bags from CVS or the supermarket by using them as garbage can liners for smaller bins. Saves the earth and some cash!

I’m really into recycling, so I flip just about everything over and look for the little recycling symbol. So many things that you wouldn’t expect are actually recyclable. It’s worth washing stuff like your plastic peanut butter jar and yogurt container out if it will save the earth!

Back in Australia, everyone has dual flush (ex. high/low flush depending on what you need), low water-using toilets which make a massive difference in water consumption.

Method cleaning products are unreal! I use their whole line—love the smells and the fact that they don’t harm the environment.

I try not to print anything, I never use Styrofoam…and I shower once a month now (kidding on the last one; shorter showers!).

Besides abiding by the old mantra “Reduce, Reuse, Recycle,” I also try to buy local as much as possible.

I definitely reuse products a lot, whether it’s buying a water bottle that I can continuously refill, or buying tote bags to bring to the grocery store so they don’t have to waste their plastic or paper on me. I also recycle and never litter.
