Top 5 Online Beauty Resources
Five years ago, you had to wait an entire month to see what your favorite magazine had to say about beauty trends, tips and products. Fast forward to 2011 and now we’ve got thousands of blogs, websites and forums dedicated to us beauty lovers. I’ve compiled a list of some of the best. You already know that Shecky’s and Clumps of Mascara are your favorites (lol), but where else can you go to get the latest and greatest beauty content?

Specktra.net: If you are a fan of forums, get ready to bookmark Specktra. Whether you are a newbie in the beauty world, need some advice on what foundation to try or simply want to show off your new look, Specktra is the place to go. Specktra members are generally helpful and friendly, and the boards cover just about every topic related to beauty and skincare. Looking to get rid of some of those gently used shadows and those lipsticks you’ve never even touched? The “For Sale & Swap” threads are full of ladies looking for products to try.

Post a CommentI’ve never heard of these sites either, except for allure. I’ll check them out. Two sites I frequently visit for makeup tips and product reviews are beautylish.com and makeupalley.com. I also love sephora.com for reviews!
Fantastic resources.
Never heard of Specktra… will have to check it out
allure is the best
Never really heard of these sites before.. I’m not huge on these kind of sites.
i like seeing videos instead of articles
I like what they offer on QVC and HSN. I like seeing the demos. I don’t go to the blogs.
Not keen on swapping used makeup — but enjoyed the article.
i love allure.com!!
Not sure about swapping things either but this was a great article!
I read Allure all the time, but I never knew these other sites existed. I love reading beauty tips, but I don’t know about swapping used makeup.
